The Sadler 26 was designed by Martin Sadler as a development of the very successful Sadler 25 to have more headroom and more spacious accommodation Over 200 of these yachts were built

between 1982 and 1992, having the same foam-filled interior moulding as the 29, to provide

unsinkability and insulation. Being a good seagoing boat, this yacht has proved to be successful for family cruising and she performs well in handicap club racing.

This particular 26 is still the standard unsinkable version and was built under licence by Fortuna, South Africa – she is in excellent condition, with Yanmar inboard engine. Cosmetic re-vamp carried out 2010, including new upholstery. SSR registered.

Due to new import regulations this boat was inspected and received the CE mark for European manufacture standards in July 2013 at a cost of £1680.This CE mark certify that this specific boat it designed and constructed with high quality materials to EU specifications and is therefore fully EU compliant and can be insured or re-sold without any additional legal requirements.

Import duty and VAT has also been paid, with all documentation available.

Hull / Superstructure

Hand laminated GRP hull with GRP deck, securely bonded to hull and solid teak rubbing band. Deck has a non-slip pattern moulded into the surface and a full length GRP textured headlining. There is a roomy self-drain cockpit and a transom hung rudder with integral skeg giving good control at sea. The interior moulding and foam filling provides unsinkability and insulation. There is sufficient reserve buoyancy to enable the Sadler 26 to be sailed when filled with water.
